China Business Development Institute (Beijing)(CBDI) isjointly set up by Liaoning University(LNU) and theChinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation(CAITEC).China Business Development Institute (Beijing) aims to give full playof mutual advantages to create a cooperation platform and top think tank.

Relying on the world-class discipline of applied economics ofLNU and the national high-end think tank ofCAITEC, China Business Development Research Institute (Beijing) servesvital strategic needs ofChina's opening up to the world,LNU’s world-class discipline construction, integratesmulti-disciplines andunique resources, brings together top talents from both sides, and innovates theparadigm of strongties between universities and research institutions.

In December 2020,LNU andCAITEC signed an agreement to jointly establish the China Business Development Institute (Beijing). In April 2021, China Business Development Institute (Beijing) was set up. In June 2021, themanagement team of China Business Development Institute (Beijing) of Liaoning University was established. In September 2021, the firstintake ofjointly cultivatedpostgraduatesentered into Master of International Business Program and Master of Finance Program.In June 2022, the offices of China Business Development Institute (Beijing) of Liaoning University is located in Anzhen Building, Beijing. In June 2023, the office moved toNo206 ofXidamechang Street, Beijing, to expand the academic and social influenceLNU, todevelop trainingprograms and provideintellectual supports for organization, and toorganize academic activities andapply for researchfunds.
